What does it
mean to be frugal? The answer will depend on who you ask; some
people will say that it means to be a penny pinching person who washes and
re-uses ziplock bags.
Other people
feel that being "frugal," is simply learning how to manage your money in a
smarter, more productive way so you are able to live a life that you want to
live. Now that doesn’t sound so bad, does it?
It also means
being creative when it comes to shopping, managing your money and living life in
general. Living frugally is finding opportunities to save money and seizing
them. It’s an adventure that’s never ending. An adventure? Being frugal sounds
like a fun experience when you think of it that way!
When you
change the way you think about money and your spending habits, living frugally
doesn’t have to be a punishment. Think of it as a game – try to
get the best deals on your purchases and save the most money each day.
